Galita | chocolate factory

Recently i wrote about little fingers in chocolate and posted a few pictures from our visit to the chocolate factory. Since then, I have had a few replies wondering exactly where we were and how to get there.

Near Tiberius on Kibbtuz Dagania there is a chocolate factory called Galita. They produce tasty chocolate designed into all sorts of things from houses to lollipops. It's a wonderful family outing and other amenities include a little restaurant (the coffee is quite decent), ice-cream bar and a cow farm outside if you dare to get so dirty - it could be a long stinky ride home!

The winter hours are only posted now - Sunday to Thursday, 10am-6pm and Friday from 10am-5pm. Saturday and holidays they are also open from 10am-7pm. I would call anyways before driving all the way: 04 - 675-5608. The price for children 2-4years is 30nis, children 5-10years it is 40nis and ages 11 and up it is 45nis. It's not just entertaining for kids, there were groups of young adults there and even a young couple on a date (aaww). For more information in hebrew the website is http://galita.co.il/

Here are a few pictures from outside that day.
